Overview
The CLEARion Elite See Thru Electric Fireplace is the first ever truly see through electric fireplace. A CLEARion Electric Fireplace can be plugged in or hardwired directly into your electrical system creating a relaxing environment in two rooms. This unique fireplace can heat separate rooms at different rates, increasing the comfort of two spaces at the same time. This 60-inch built-in model delivers 1,500 watts of supplemental heat (5,000 or 9,000 BTU), warms rooms up to 800 sq ft and runs on a standard 120V / 240V household circuit.

No. Electric fireplaces need no venting, chimney or gas line. This model runs on 120V / 240V (direct wire).
Can I use the flames without the heat?
Yes. The flame effect runs on its own, so you can enjoy it all year without heating the room.
